We believe that Jesus should be at the center of Adventist doctrine. In an on-line review of the book, Seventh-day Adventists Believe, the website of the Ministerial Association of the General Conference says: “Jesus, the central focus of Scripture and history, is also the central focus of Adventist doctrine and experience.”
Ellen White, an early Adventist leader wrote: “The sacrifice of Christ as an atonement for sin is the great truth around which all other truths cluster. In order to be rightly understood and appreciated, every truth in the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, must be studied in the light that streams from the cross of Calvary.” (Gospel Workers, page 315).
Where you place the Cross of Christ fundamentally affects everything you think or do.
